Meet the Founders
Husband and Wife Duo
We’re a husband-and-wife team dedicated to raising the bar in civil engineering education.
Sean is a Chartered Civil Engineer, RPEQ and an award-winning educator with 20+ years of experience. Ash is a corporate leader who believes in empowering rather than managing people, with a strong focus on the psychology of individuals - how they learn, grow, and thrive in their roles. Together, we’ve built Quilty Engineering Hub to bridge the gap between theory and practice.
Our mission is simple:
-
Close knowledge gaps
-
Equip professionals with practical, real-world skills
-
Empower engineering professionals at every stage of their career
We believe in coaching with purpose, delivering training that transforms potential into confidence, and cultivating a future of excellence within the engineering community.

Your ability to explain standards with real-life examples, coupled with step-by-step guides and visual aids like diagrams, has greatly benefited my understanding (as a very visual person who struggled with English it was very helpful to be able to see, but also read the explanation to then be able to use those words to explain my steps). Your instructional videos, recording screen and mouse actions, have been incredibly helpful. Thanks for making learning both accessible and enjoyable.

Sean is not just a fantastic teacher, but also a person with a profound understanding of civil engineering. His knowledge has added a greater depth to my understanding of the subject. Moreover, he is an exceptional human being, and his superb hardworking nature is truly commendable.
- Navpreet,
Civil Drafter
I remember doing my Master's in Water Resources and struggling to understand what ARR was all about. A few minutes into yesterday's lecture and I was hooked, really looking forward to the next session.
